MoneyMetric provides free educational calculators and general information about personal finance. The calculators apply standard financial formulas to figures you supply and return estimates.

We are not a bank, lender, broker, investment adviser, tax preparer, accountant or law firm, and nothing on this site creates a professional or fiduciary relationship between us.

Nothing on this site is financial, investment, tax, legal or accounting advice. Results are estimates based entirely on inputs you provide and assumptions stated on each page. They do not account for your full financial circumstances. See our Disclaimer for the full statement.

We take the mathematics seriously: the formulas used are the standard ones for each calculation type, and they are covered by an automated test suite. Even so, we make no warranty that results are error-free, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. Tax rules, interest rates and market conditions change, and the data underlying certain calculators may lag those changes.

You are responsible for verifying any figure before relying on it, and for consulting a qualified professional before making a financial decision.

You may use this site for personal and commercial purposes, including using its results in your own work. You may not: attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure; use automated systems to overload or disrupt it; scrape content at scale for republication; or reproduce substantial portions of our written guides without attribution and a link.

The site's design, written content, and code are owned by MoneyMetric and protected by copyright. The underlying financial formulas are standard mathematics and belong to no one.
