What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser so it can recognize your device on a later visit. Related technologies — local storage, session storage and web beacons — do similar jobs and are covered by this policy.
What we store ourselves
MoneyMetric sets no tracking cookies of its own. We store exactly one item in your browser's local storage:
mm-theme, which remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. It contains no personal information and is never sent to our servers.Calculator inputs are held in memory only, for the duration of the page view. Closing the tab discards them.
Advertising cookies
Where advertising is enabled, Google AdSense and its partners may set cookies to measure ad performance, limit how often you see a given advertisement, and — unless you opt out — serve ads relevant to your interests based on your browsing history.
These are set by Google, not by us, and we have no access to their contents. You can manage them at Google Ads Settings or opt out of participating vendors at aboutads.info/choices.
Analytics
We may use analytics to understand which calculators are used and how quickly pages load. Where enabled, it records aggregate usage — page views, device category, load performance — and never the figures you enter into a calculator.
Controlling cookies
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, usually under Settings → Privacy. Blocking all cookies will not break the calculators, since they run entirely in your browser; you will simply lose the saved theme preference.
Clearing site data for this domain removes the theme preference immediately.
